Ana Laura Vargas was born in San Jose Costa Rica and studied fine arts at the Universidad Autonoma de Centro America specializing in Watercolor.

Her paintings are exhibited in private collections in
: Costa Rica, Texas, Chicago,
California, Georgia, Arizona, Mexico City, Cancún, Guatemala, Dusseldorf. Sevilla.

She is a member of the Costa Rican Association of Watercolorists
